As part of the Saint-Gobain investment, a new production line for gypsum boards has been put into operation

Saint-Gobain Romania has put into operation its second gypsum board production line, built in Turda. The general design responsibilities for the investment were undertaken by KÉSZ Romania, with special emphasis on energy efficiency and sustainability.

The facility, covering approximately 14,500 m², includes, among other elements, a grinding and calcination plant as well as a production line for forming, drying, and packaging the boards. The aim of the investment is to produce environmentally friendly materials, certified through Environmental Product Declarations (EPD).

This development represents an important milestone in sustainable construction solutions and a further step towards forward-looking design and execution.
