Design of the Alba Arena

The design team of KÉSZ Romania provided professional support within the Alba Arena multifunctional sports and events hall project in Székesfehérvár, contributing to the strengthening of the Group’s design capabilities. The building, with a total area of 10,000 m², features a steel structure weighing approximately 1,750 tons, supported by a concrete slab resting on 757 drilled reinforced concrete piles, as well as by the monolithic structure and prefabricated elements of the grandstands. The building is enclosed by a metal cladding, above which span 15 lattice girders, each measuring 60 meters in length.

KÉSZ Romania’s scope of work focused on two main areas: on the one hand, the design of the joints of the arena’s main lattice girders, and on the other hand, the static verification of their lifting (erection) stages. Through this design activity, KÉSZ Romania contributed to the high technical standard and the successful delivery of the project.
