Design of the Pillar Office Building

Located in Budapest’s 13th District, along the prominent Váci Road office corridor, the Pillar office building was delivered by the KÉSZ Group as a turnkey project. The KÉSZ Romania design team contributed to the project’s success by providing detailed reinforced concrete structural design. Our scope of work included, in addition to the upper and lower formwork plans, coordination drawings and penetration layouts, as well as the design of additional reinforcement, thereby ensuring structural safety and efficient execution of the building. The office building has a total gross floor area of over 44,000 m² and is LEED Gold certified. Developed at the request of Kompakt Land Kft., the project includes high-quality leasable spaces, a green courtyard, water features, sports and conference facilities, and cafés. The undulating façade, rounded corners, colored fins, and generous green areas emphasize the building—designed in accordance with ExxonMobil’s requirements—making it a defining element of the urban landscape.
