Ferma Cernat

KÉSZ Romania acted as general contractor for the extension of Ferma Cernat’s modern potato storage facility. The aim of the project was to increase storage capacity within a building featuring controlled climatic conditions. The warehouse is built on monolithic reinforced‑concrete pad foundations with a steel load‑bearing structure, insulated cassette wall cladding and a high‑profile trapezoidal‑sheet roof. The approximately 3,500 m² storage area, with a capacity of nearly 10,000 tonnes, enables the storage, sorting and packaging of potatoes and other vegetables in full compliance with European standards.
