Forvia Hella Ghiroda

The new Forvia Hella production and storage hall, together with the associated administrative building, was constructed under the general contracting of KÉSZ Romania in Ghiroda, near Timișoara.
The complex is built on isolated reinforced concrete foundations, with a load-bearing structure made of prefabricated reinforced concrete elements and secondary metal components. The façade cladding consists of three-layer base panels, the walls are made of sandwich panels, and the roof is made of high-profile trapezoidal sheet metal with a soft-roof covering.

The administrative building, with a P+2F (ground floor plus two floors) configuration, stands out for its prefabricated concrete structure, curtain façade, and automated vertical shading systems, which required special attention during the structural design phase. Due to high loads and limited allowable displacements, the beam‑column joints were designed as rigid connections.

The project included the complete installation of utility networks, as well as the integration of technological and electrical systems. In addition to state-of-the-art heating systems, industrial humidification systems were installed to meet the requirements of technological processes. The complex comprises a production hall, warehouse, technical spaces, and administrative areas.
