Penny

On behalf of the REWE Group (Rewe Projektentwicklung Romania S.R.L.), KÉSZ Romania built the Penny
regional logistics centre, consisting of an industrial warehouse and an adjoining administrative building.

The facility is founded on monolithic reinforced-concrete pads and features a precast concrete primary
structure with secondary steel members. The envelope system combines three-layer plinth panels and
sandwich-panel wall cladding, while the roof is formed from high-profile trapezoidal sheet. A two-storey
administrative block with a floor area of 1,360 m² is attached to the main hall.

A 4,000 m² temperature-controlled zone has been created in the centre of the warehouse, of which 800 m² serves as a deep-freeze area operating at -24 °C. We designed and installed the complete refrigeration systems required for this space, ensuring precise temperature control, high energy efficiency and safe storage conditions for the goods handled.
