Yazaki I.+II.+III.

KÉSZ Romania delivered Yazaki’s plant expansion projects in three separate construction phases:

First phase – 2014, Ploiești  
General contracting for a 4,300 m² extension of the manufacturing facility, as part of Yazaki’s production hub in southern Romania.

Second phase – 2015, Arad  
Design and general contracting for an 8,000 m² production hall and utility building. 
The industrial hall is founded on monolithic reinforced-concrete pads and features a precast concrete primary frame with secondary steel elements. Three-layer plinth panels, sandwich-panel wall cladding and a high-profile trapezoidal sheet roof define the envelope. The office area is configured on ground and first floor.

Third phase – 2016, Arad  
As an extension of the phase-two facility, an additional 4,435 m² of industrial space was built to
increase existing capacities and optimise production and logistics flows. The overall aim of the project
was to expand output and improve the efficiency of Yazaki’s operations.
